Welcome to the Peace Over Fights campaign! My name is Bri Lopez and I have been an educator for 4 years who worked as a Long-term Substitute teacher and a Paraprofessional/ Instructional Assistant at Tolleson Union High School District (TUHSD). The subjects that I have taught include Sociology, Psychology, Health, Physical Education, Culinary, Geometry, Algebra, English, and Dance. Teaching different subjects has given me different insights and opportunities to observe our next generation. Coaching sports such as wrestling and cheer have also made me realize the joy that extra-curricular activities can bring to students. Discovering that my purpose is towards education makes me feel empowered to continue being a role model and keep pursuing my goals.
